How Our Network Works

Request an estimate

Who You Will Talk To

After you send a request, you will not be talking to a Weabuse Roofing roofer, because we do not have any. You will talk to an independent local provider from our network. These are separate businesses that work in Pittsburgh and around the Pittsburgh area.

That means the person who looks at your roof is also the person who can explain what they would do, what it would cost, and how long it might take.

What Happens on the First Conversation

Expect a relaxed chat, not a sales sprint. A provider will usually ask about the age of the roof, where you see trouble, and whether there has been a recent storm. They may suggest a visit to look at the roof in person.

After that, you should receive a written estimate. Read it at the kitchen table, not on the driveway. Your roof, your pace.

What to Ask an Independent Provider

Good questions make good comparisons. Try these:

  • Are you licensed and insured in Pennsylvania? Can I see proof?
  • What exactly is included: tear-off, underlayment, flashing, cleanup?
  • Which materials do you plan to use, and why?
  • How do you handle ice and snow, since winters here are hard on roofs?
  • Who will be on my roof, and who is my contact if something comes up?
  • What warranty comes from the manufacturer, and what comes from you?
  • How would changes to the job be priced and agreed on?

When you compare quotes, look beyond the bottom line. Two estimates can look similar and cover very different work.

Costs Vary, So Get It in Writing

Roof replacement costs differ a lot from house to house. Typical U.S. ranges run from a few thousand dollars for a small, simple roof to well over that for large or complex ones. Pitch, layers, materials and access all matter. Only a written quote from a provider can tell you your number.

You Are in Control

Talking to a provider does not commit you to anything. You can ask for a second opinion, take a week to think, or walk away. If storm damage is involved, some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy and ask a provider whether they can help document what they find.

If water is coming in, ask about temporary protection, such as a tarp, while you decide on the larger plan. That is a short-term step, not a decision.
